Sustainability Promise

Every order is made to order by hand in my home studio in East London, where sustainable practice is at the heart of every choice I make.

As a small business, it is sometimes tricky to source certain materials but here is a little list of everything Iā€™m currently doing to ensure your purchase has as low an impact on the environment as possible.

Each purchase is made to order especially for you, this way I do not end up with any waste products or leftover stock at the end of the season

All packaging can be recycled

Most of my products are made using linen & organic cotton yarns dyed with minimal treatment and sourced from a UK supplier. Any limited edition products or colours are made using deadstock yarns.

The Loren Bikini is currently my only product made using a Nylon / Acrylic mix yarn as I am currently trying to source a water resistant sustainable material and researching into locally spun Tencel (that does not yet exist).

Many of my products are made using leftover yarn. Leftover Coasters & the Wetland Bucket Hat are made using any remaining lengths of yarn from 2020 hat orders.

I am always looking for ways to make my business more sustainable, if you have any questions or advice please contact me, Jess at info@jess-nash.co.uk
